COLE, J.

The appellant, Daniel L. Speller, was tried and convicted by a jury on indictments charging him with burglary and grand larceny. He was sentenced to eighteen years in the penitentiary.

The issues raised on appeal are: (1) whether the court erred in refusing to permit Speller’s mother to testify that he had polio as a child and suffered from continuing disabilities which would have impaired his ability to flee the scene on foot; (2) whether the court erred in limiting cross-examination of a Commonwealth’s witness, who was also a suspect to the crime, concerning disposition of…
