Captain Sheriff Saudi brings this admiralty action seeking recovery for a personal injury on the high seas. Saudi’s suit against the Keppel Group Corporation was dismissed for lack of personal jurisdiction. His suit against Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company and the Northrop Grumman Corporation proceeded to a bench trial, at the conclusion of which the district court granted judgment as a matter of law to the defendants.
