MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

FLANNERY, District Judge,

The three above-named defendants were convicted under the Comprehensive Drug *186Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970 (hereinafter “the Act”), 21 U.S.C. § 846 (1972), and sentenced to a term of one to four years imprisonment (later reduced to one to three years) to be followed by a special parole term of three years. They are currently incarcerated at Allenwood Federal Prison Camp.

Section 846, under which defendants were convicted, provides:
