—Judgment, Supreme Court, Bronx County (Ira Globerman, J.), rendered July 14, 1998, convicting defendant, after a nonjury trial, of robbery in the second degree, and sentencing him, as a persistent violent felony offender, to a term of 16 years to life, unanimously affirmed.
The court properly refused to considér robbery in the third degree as a lesser included offense. There was no reasonable view of the evidence, viewed most favorably to defendant, that he stole the victim’s property by force, but without displaying what appeared to be a firearm.
