MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
HELEN S. BALICK, Bankruptcy Judge.
Alfred J. Lindh, the attorney for debtor’s ex-wife, filed a complaint asking the court to determine whether an award of attorney’s fees arising from a matrimonial action constituted an exception to discharge under 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(5). The following is the court’s findings of fact and conclusions of law.
