— Briefly stated, the respondent was employed by the appellant lumber company, which was oper*469ating a saw mill in the city of Everett, and was directed by a millwright in the employ of the mill company to assist in putting a belt upon a shaft running through the mill, to be attached to an emory wheel situate in the mill, for the purpose of turning said wheel.
