COLLOTON, Circuit Judge.

Pastor Sanchez-Martinez pleaded guilty to illegal reentry after deportation, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1326(a), (b)(2). The district court 1 sentenced Sanchez-Martinez to 36 months’ imprisonment. Sanchez-Martinez appeals his sentence, arguing that the district court erred in calculating his advisory guideline sentence range by classifying a prior state-lav? conviction as a crime of violence and applying the corresponding sixteen-level specific offense characteristic pursuant to USSG § 2L1.2(b)(1)(A)(ii).
