TOM GRAY, Chief Justice.

Johannes Kinny was killed during a robbery at the convenience store where he worked. Joshua Evans was charged in connection with the robbery and Kinny’s death. He was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life in prison. Tex. Penal Code Ann. § 19.03(a)(2) (West Supp. 2012).

On appeal, Evans complains that the evidence is insufficient to establish Evans’s intent to kill, the trial court improperly limited jury selection by preventing Evans from asking a proper question, and the trial court erred in not suppressing evidence from an allegedly illegal traffic…
