Arthur Moton appeals from his jury conviction for unlawful possession of a concealable firearm, a violation of § 571.070 RSMo Cum.Supp.1984. He was sentenced as a persistent offender to 15 years’ imprisonment. Appellant raises three points on appeal. In his first point he alleges error in the filing of an amended information, which added a persistent offender designation and substituted the charge of unlawful possession of a concealable firearm for the initial charge of unlawful use of a weapon.
