In the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Karas, J .), W.A. and M.S. ("the Parents"), individually and on behalf of their son, W.E., commenced two actions against the Hendrick Hudson Central School District ("the District") under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act ("IDEA"), 20 U.S.C. § 1400 et seq. W.E. attended public school in the District and began suffering from conventional and abdominal migraines during middle school, which caused him to miss over 100 days of eighth grade.
