March 18th, 1874, this court affirmed the judgment of the Louisville Chancery Court in the case of Reamer and others v. Gray, &c.* At the request of R. W. Woolley, who was the attorney for Gray, the time was extended by the chief justice to the 4th day of June to enable him to prepare and file a petition for a rehearing of the appeal. On that day, on motion of Woolley, further time was given him to have the petition printed. At the same time he sued out a writ of certiorari to supply a diminution of the record.
