Following jury trial, Glenn Seals, Jr., (“Movant”) was convicted of passing a bad check, in violation of § 570.120, RSMo 1994, and, in an amended sentence and judgment, sentenced to four years’ imprisonment. His conviction and sentence were affirmed on direct appeal in an unpublished order and memorandum opinion. State v. Seals, No. 22747, slip op. (Mo.App.S.D. March 17, 2000) (“Seals /”).
