Anna S. Fahlin was of Swedish nativity and came to live near Stanton, Iowa, in the year 1869. Her husband predeceased her, and at the time involved herein she had something over $2,000 in money, which, a short time prior to the appointment of the guardian, she withdrew from the National Bank of Stanton and placed on deposit in the State Bank of Stanton, $1,700 of which money was represented by a certificate of deposit in the latter bank and the balance was in an open account.
