FORD, District Judge.

Alleging that during the period set out in his petition, he was employed by the defendant in the production of goods for inter-state commerce, the plaintiff seeks to recover compensation for thirty hours overtime employment each week from January 16, 1940, to March 10, 1943, under § 7 of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, 29 U.S.C.A. § 207, which requires that employees be compensated for time so employed during each work week in excess of the maximum provided by the Act, “at a rate not less than one and one-half times the regular rate.” He also seeks liquidated…
