I. Overview

The Panel, pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1407, previously transferred an action pending in the District of Kansas to the District of Connecticut and, with the consent of that court, assigned it to the Honorable T. Emmet Clarie for coordinated or consolidated pretrial proceedings with • an action pending there.1 Since the above-captioned action appeared to raise questions of fact common to the actions in the transferee district, the Panel ordered the parties to show cause why it should not likewise be transferred to the District of Connecticut for centralized pretrial…
