In this proceeding application is made for a writ of habeas corpus in behalf of one Alice Solberg. The trial court refused to issue a writ. Application is also made for certiorari as an ancillary writ.

Alice Solberg, seventeen years of age, was, by order of the juvenile court of Ward county, dated March 25, 1925, committed to the State Training School at Mandan for the period of her minority, and the superintendent of that institution was appointed guardian of her person.
