This was an application, by the defendants, to stay the proceedings upon a decree of the late assistant vice chancellor of the first circuit, until the decision of the chancellor upon their appeal from such decree. 1Opinion of the Court

The Chancellor.

The decree in this case appears to have oeen final, so far as related to the payment of the balance which should be found due by the master, and so far as related to the transfer of the legal title of the premises to the complainants, and the surrender of the possession. But it is an interlocutory decree; inasmuch as the question of costs is not disposed of, and the right is reserved to the parties to set the cause down for a hearing for further directions, not inconsistent with the decree already made.
