Defendant corporation appeals from a judgment in favor of plaintiffs for the reasonable value of services rendered in furnishing carpenter labor for the construction of certain houses. The sole point to be determined is whether the legislative enactments regulating the licensing of contractors (Bus. Prof. Code. ch. 9, arts. 1-6, inc.) preclude plaintiffs' recovery. The appeal is presented upon a settled statement of facts.
