Plaintiffs, who are all minor students in the Shawnee Mission School District ("SMSD" or "the District"), bring this action by and through their next friends under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and the Kansas Student Publications Act, for claims arising out of the District's conduct during the April 20, 2018 national school walkout to protest gun violence.
