MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

Plaintiff-claimant, Rithie Parker, and defendant, Secretary of Health and Human Services (“Secretary”) have both filed Motions for Summary Judgment with supporting briefs. This action was brought pursuant to Section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), to obtain judicial review of the final decision of the Secre*278tary denying plaintiff’s claim for widow’s insurance benefits under Section 202(e) and 223 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 402(e), 423.
