1. Decatur County, by and through its board of commissioners of roads and revenues, employed Roberts to seek out, at his own expense, unreturned property subject to taxes, and for all taxes received by the county from such hidden and unreturned property he was to receive for his services a sum equal to twenty-five per cent, of the amount collected and paid by him to the board as the property of Decatur County.
