In this interlocutory appeal, defendant, Ted Allen Anderson, appeals by leave granted the trial court’s opinion and order denying his motion to dismiss the prosecution’s charge that he unlawfully manufactured marijuana, see MCL 333.7401(1) and (2)(d), and barring him from arguing or presenting evidence that he had a valid defense to that charge under the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act (the MMA),1 MCL 333.26421 et seq.
