The administrator of six employee benefit trust funds brought this action under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, 29 U.S.C. § 1132(a)(3) (1982). The Trusts were established between the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (Union) and various multi-em*596ployer associations in the Southern California construction industry pursuant to Section 302(c) of the Labor Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 186(c). The administrator sought to recover allegedly delinquent employer trust contributions from the J.L.M. Construction Company (JLM).…
