This case presents the issue of what constitutes a “successful party” under the private attorney general doctrine contained in Code of Civil Procedure section 1021.5.
Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) submitted and California’s Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) approved three timber harvest plans (Plans) for logging in Tuolumne County.
