This suit was instituted in the district court on the 21st day of May, 1910, by the widow, children, and mother of Frank Jones against the Ft. Worth Belt Railway Company, seeking to recover damages in the sum of 850,000 on account of the death of said Frank Jones on March 2, 1910, while working as a switchman for the defendant company. The fatal accident occurred while the switching crew' was handling a long string of cars. The engine was pushing the cars ahead of it, and Jones and another switchman were riding on top of the car farthest from the engine. Jones and the man with him discovered…
