McGINLEY, Judge.

William J. Cromie (Claimant) petitions for review of an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board (Board) that affirmed an order of a referee granting compensation benefits for a closed period beginning July 27, 1987, and ending March 17, 1988. He contends that the referee’s decision was based on findings of fact not supported by substantial evidence in the record.
