Statement of the case. This was an action of replevin, brought by Bayne against Bailey, to recover certain personal property described in the plaintiff’s petition. The defendant answered, setting up certain special denials, and also setting forth certain new matter. The plaintiff replied, denying generally all the new matter set up in the defendant’s answer.
