DURHAM, Justice:
This appeal challenges three separate summary judgments granted to defendants in the trial court. 1 Our review is restricted to the question of whether summary judgment was properly granted; we do not address plaintiffs’ underlying negligence claims.
Rule 56(c) of the Utah Rules of Civil Procedure provides that summary judgment may be granted “if the pleadings, depositions, answers to interrogatories, and admissions on file, together with the affidavits, if any, show that there is no genuine issue as to any material fact and that the moving party is entitled to a judgment as a…
