These cross appeals are from the same decree and will be considered together. Christian H. Detre, late of Philadelphia, died on January 6, 1895, leaving a widow, one son and two daughters, and a last will which pro*344vides, inter alia, “I do hereby give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal and mixed whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be unto my executor hereinafter named, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in trust nevertheless to lease and demise the real estate and to invest and keep invested the…
