Rulon, C.J.:
The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) and L.W. and R.W., the foster parents of D.C., appeal the district court’s judgment that SRS and its con*964tracting agency, Kansas Children’s Service League (the League), had not exercised reasonable efforts in finding a permanent placement for D.C. and the court’s order to transfer D.C. to her maternal aunt and uncle, J.P. and D.P., in Arizona. We affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand the case for further proceedings.
