This is an action on the case brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act of 1908, and the amendment thereto of 1910, by A. F. Warren, as administrator of the estate of Michael H. Warren against William J. Jackson, receiver of the Chicago & Eastern Illinois Bailroad Company, to recover damages for pain and suffering of the intestate after he was injured and for his death alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the defendant.
