The parties appear here in the same relative positions as in the trial court and herein we shall refer to them respectively as plaintiff and defendant. The parties were married in Russia on March 28, 1898. In 1942 plaintiff instituted against the defendant, in the district court of the City and County of Denver, Colorado, the action for separate maintenance here in consideration.
