Kimberly Striplin, the appellant, was convicted of assault in the third degree, driving while under the influence of alcohol (DUI), and running a red light, in violation of §§ 13A-6-22,32-5A-191, and 32-5A-2, Code of Alabama 1975, as adopted by § 91, Code of Ordinances, City of Dothan, Alabama. Additionally, she was convicted of public intoxication, a violation of § 9-16, Code of Ordinances, City of Dothan, Alabama.
