Carrie Warfield (“Carrie”), Lagina War-field (“Lagina”) on behalf of herself and her minor son Deshaun Fox (“Deshaun”), Jennifer Warfield (“Jennifer”), Latoya Powell (“Latoya”), Mary Bonner (“Mary”), and Jalessa Bonner (“Jalessa”) (collectively, “Plaintiffs”), brought this unlawful detention suit pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (“Section 1983”) against the City of Chicago (the “City”), and Chicago police detectives Raymond Schalk (“Schalk”), Jerome Bogueki (“Bogueki”), Michael Muzupappa (“Muzupappa”), and Bruce Kischner (“Kischner”).…
