The city of San Antonio and the San Antonio independent school district brought this action against the Santa Rosa Infirmary and the congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, corporations, to recover taxes assessed by the city and school district for the fiscal year from June 1, 1918, to May 31, 1919, against certain real property and improvements thereon, on which the defendant corporations operated what is known as the Santa Rosa Infirmary.
