The city of San Antonio and the San Antonio independent school district instituted this suit in one of the district courts of Bexar county against the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word and the Santa Rosa Infirmary, both incorporated under the laws of Texas, to recover certain taxes assessed by the city and school district for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 1918, and terminating May 81, 1919, against certain real estate and improvements thereon situate known as the Santa Rosa Infirmary, a general hospital, in the city of San Antonio, for the treatment of surgical…
