This action is before this Court upon two certified questions from the Circuit Court of Mercer County. This action concerns the constitutionality of W.Va. Code, 61-7-1 [1975], relating to the carrying of certain types of dangerous or deadly weapons without a license, in light of the adoption of article III, section 22 of the West Virginia Constitution, commonly referred to as “The Right to Keep And Bear Arms Amendment,” and whether the legislature may reasonably regulate the right of a person to keep and bear arms in West Virginia.
