Plaintiff, Johnnie Wade, appeals from the entry of summary judgment in favor of his former employer, the Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB), on his claims of racial discrimination and retaliation in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1981; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, see 42 U.S.C. § 2000e; and the Tennessee Human Rights Act (THRA), Tenn.Code Ann. § 4-21-101.
