—Stephen Lucero was shot to death several hours after he and fellow gang members, defendants Alberto Francisco Ortega Lara, Issiah Flores, and Aurelio Espinoza, III (collectively, defendants), burglarized a house in Stockton, taking an assortment of electronics and firearms from the house.
