The appellant, through counsel, seeks review of an August 24, 2001, Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board or BVA) decision that concluded that there was no clear and unmistakable error (CUE) in a June 17, 1976, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) regional office (RO) decision that had denied VA service connection for hypothyroidism.
