1Opinion of the Court

LANGE, District Judge.

Cord R. Christenson (“Christenson”) appeals the holding of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa, 2 which denied his application for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 on the grounds that (1) he did not receive ineffective assistance of counsel when trial counsel declined to present evidence based on certain crime scene photographs, and (2) his claims under Brady v. Maryland, 373 U.S. 83, 83 S.Ct. 1194, 10 L.Ed.2d 215 (1963), were procedurally barred. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm the judgment of the district court.
