The disposition of this appeal depends on whether the sheriff’s sale of the plaintiffs’ property passed a good title to the purchaser. If it did the judgment of the lower court must be reversed.

On May 29, 1916, the plaintiffs were the owners of the property in dispute in this action, situate in the township of Upper Darby. On that date the Township filed, its municipal claim against the property for a sewer assessment.
