The procedural posture of the instant matter is as follows:
On June 28, 1982, the Board of School Directors of the Wyoming Area School District, hereafter re*403ferred to as the board, adopted a series of resolutions the purpose of which was to demote the above named individuals in both position and salary from their respective employment as Administrators to teachers. The Public School Code of 1949, hereafter referred to as the School Code1 sets forth the procedure which shall be employed in the demotion of any professional employe.2 Specifically, the School Code provides:
