The father of two minor children appeals the Superior Court’s order denying his motion to modify his child-support *672obligations under a separation agreement he entered into with the children’s mother. He argues that despite the fact that the separation agreement was merged into the divorce decree, the Superior Court was still required to apply the child-support guidelines promulgated by the Division of Paternity and Child Support of the Virgin Islands Department of Justice.
