Sherrie Hansen petitions this Court to prohibit the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division (“Division”) from proceeding -with its motion under section 454.496, RSMo 2000,1 to administratively modify Ms. Hansen’s existing court-ordered child support. She contends that the filing of such a motion constitutes an attempt by the Division to act in a judicial rather than an administrative capacity and thereby violates the separation of powers required under article II, section 1 of the Missouri Constitution.
