Joseph John Bergeron appeals his conviction for murder in the first degree in violation of Minnesota Statutes § 609.185(3) (1988), intentional murder while committing or attempting to commit a burglary. The conviction arose from the stabbing death of Thomas Berger. After a jury trial, defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment.
