Proceeding pursuant to CPLR article 78 (transferred to this Court by order of the Supreme Court, entered in Schuyler County) to review a determination of the Schuyler County Administrator which terminated petitioner’s employment as a probation officer for respondent.

Following a hearing conducted pursuant to Civil Service Law § 75, petitioner was found guilty of misconduct for requesting a neighbor to lie to law enforcement officials conducting a criminal investigation of petitioner.
