Appellee/Plaintiff Schrier Brothers, a division of Bunzel Distribution Northeast, LLC, brought this action against Appellant/Defendant Hudson United Bank (“HUB”) and other Defendants seeking damages for the conversion of six checks payable to Schrier Brothers by its former employee Harvey Golub. Golub, a salesperson, fraudulently indorsed checks collected from his customers and deposited them in his own commercial account with HUB.
