Plaintiff Brenda Perry filed this medical malpractice action to recover damages for injuries allegedly sustained during, and following the course of an abdominal hysterectomy performed by defendant’s decedent, Dr. Charles Smith. Following a jury trial in November 1993, Dr. Smith was found not guilty.
