The state appeals from a pretrial order granting defendant’s motions to suppress all evidence after a traffic stop. We reverse.

The following facts are not in dispute: On December 11, 1993, at 2:13 a.m., Baker City Police Officer Mahoney saw defendant illegally back her car from a parking space into the path of his marked patrol car. Mahoney had to stop his patrol car in the middle of the street to avoid hitting defendant’s car. He turned on his overhead lights to signal her to stop, but defendant did not stop.
